The SGS-71xx is a high-end hybrid High-Definition digital video receiver. It is equipped with two digital DVB-x front-end (DB-S2/S, DVB-T2/T or DVB-C) that allow having full high-definition TV reception. It can provide seamless access to Internet services for either OTT services or for full operator dedicated IP-TV services. It has been designed in order to support a large variety of conditional access and content protection solutions. It optionally integrates Hard disk drive which allows advanced feature such as DVR, time shift, push VOD. Its storage capacity can be extended with an external HDD plugged on its Rear USB connector, with the front USB allows to enjoy immediately multimedia contents from other sources (pictures, video, music…). Depending of the middleware it can also act as a full multimedia/TV server share content with other connected home devices.
